Rolled oats – provides an excellent source of B Vitamins, Vitamin E and minerals such as magnesium. Oats contain a type of soluble fibre called beta-glucan. This has been shown to help stabilise blood glucose levels and reduce LDL bad cholesterol. Furthermore, the active phytochemicals in rolled oats have been reported to exhibit antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antihistamine properties that may help reduce chronic conditions.

Ingredients:
- 2 medium bananas
- 1 ½ cups soy milk
- ¼ cup natural yoghurt
- ½ teaspoon turmeric (anti-inflammatory ingredient 1)
- 2 tablespoons rolled oats (anti-inflammatory ingredient 2)
- ½ teaspoon grounded cinnamon
- 1 ½ tablespoons Manuka honey
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 6 ice-cubes
Method:
Add all ingredients into a high speed blend and pulse until smooth.
- Divide into two serving glasses.
