Frequently Asked Questions

Which Nageze product is best for me?2017-08-10T10:45:17+10:00

The best Nageze product for you is really your decision. We have developed a couple of formulas we believe may work best for certain conditions but everyone’s experience of pain is subjective and therefore so is their solution.

Nageze Joint Pain is a dual action formula containing two naturally derived anti-inflammatory ingredients. We believe this formula is best for active people who are still exercising regularly and want a double dose of natural anti-inflammatory support to stay active and keep moving.

Nageze Osteo Plus is a simpler single ingredient formula that is targeted towards the relief of symptoms associated with mild osteoarthritis. We believe this formula is better suited for those looking for a natural complement to their osteoarthritis treatment.

What is Nageze Joint Pain and what does it contain?2017-09-07T13:17:21+10:00

Nageze Joint Pain is a dual action anti-inflammatory designed to relieve pain so that you can stay active. Based on traditional Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine, all ingredients are 100% natural, animal free, allergy friendly and suitable for sustained daily use.

Nageze Joint Pain contains two, naturally derived and concentrated ingredients:
TermiPain® is a proprietary herbal extract from the fruit of the Myrobalan tree (Terminalia chebula), an old Indian Fruit Tree that has been used in Ayurveda for centuries. TermiPain is standardised to two active constituents, chebulinic and chebulagic acids.

Turmeric BetaSorb a proprietary complexation (mixture) of concentrated turmeric extracted from certified organic turmeric and standardised to Curcuminoids. This extract is then complexed with our own unique BetaSorb® delivery system to give you Turmeric BetaSorb®.

What is Nageze Osteo Plus and what does it contain?2017-09-07T13:18:39+10:00

Nageze Osteo Plus is a natural anti-inflammatory designed to support the symptoms associated with mild osteoarthritis. It is aimed at reliving pain naturally by inhibiting the inflammatory pathways as shown in both Traditional Chinese and Ayurvedic Medicine usage.

Nageze Osteo Plus contains a 100% naturally-derived dry turmeric (Curcuma longa) extract. We use certified organic turmeric and standardised to curcuminoids to ensure a therapeutic dose. The turmeric extract is complexed (blended) with the unique delivery system, BetaSorb®. This proprietary complex (mixture) is known as Turmeric BetaSorb®.

How long do I need to take Nageze for?2017-08-10T10:45:17+10:00

Patients in both clinical and non-clinical settings have reported pain relief in as little as 2 hours and as long as 2 weeks. Everybody’s experience of pain is subjective and as most conditions where turmeric and terminalia may be beneficial are chronic in nature, treatment with Nageze should be considered long term. We recommend one capsule per day to manage inflammation and reduce pain.

Is Nageze safe to take long term?2017-09-07T13:22:02+10:00

Turmeric has been used in Traditional Chinese and Ayurvedic Medicine for centuries and is considered very safe at normal therapeutic dosages to be taken long term.

What is the difference between Turmeric & Curcumin?2017-08-10T10:47:27+10:00

Turmeric, (Curcuma longa) is herbaceous plant native to South East Asia most commonly known as a popular Indian spice.
The rhizome (root) of the plant is harvested, cleaned, dried, and powdered to be used as a spice (turmeric gives curry its beautiful golden yellow colour) and as a therapeutic substance. Compounds in turmeric responsible for its health benefits are known as curcumin or curcuminoids. Just as Mushrooms are a source of vitamin D, turmeric is a source of curcumin. Extensive research has been done on the therapeutic properties of the compound curcumin as well as the whole rhizome itself, turmeric. Traditional Ayurvedic medicine has always used the entire rhizome for its therapeutic benefits.

How is Turmeric BetaSorb® different from other Turmeric & Curcumin products?2017-08-10T10:47:27+10:00

Studies regarding absorption, transportation, assimilation and elimination of curcumin and turmeric have shown low absorption and its rapid metabolism which leads to rather low bio-availability. Betasorb® is a unique proprietary delivery system that improves Turmeric’s bioavailability.

I’ve never heard of Terminalia chebula before. What is it and what makes TermiPain® special?2017-08-10T10:47:28+10:00

Terminalia chebula is the latin/scientific name for type of tree that is native to South Asia called Chebulic Myrobalan. Terminalia chebula is recognised as a pharmacopoeial Ayurvedic medicine with the following benefits

Are there any conditions where Nageze is not recommended such as pregnancy and for children?2017-08-10T10:46:23+10:00

While traditional evidence indicates there are no concerns for pregnant/lactating women or children under 12, at this time there is no scientific clinical data available to support safety in either of these conditions. If this applies to you, we would only recommend Nageze to be taken under the guidance of a qualified healthcare practitioner.

I can’t swallow capsules, how else can I take Nageze?2017-08-10T10:45:17+10:00

If you are limited in your ability to swallow capsules, you can open the Nageze capsules and dissolve in water or juice. Please avoid hot liquids though as stability testing in hot water hasn’t been completed.

When I first took Nageze I experience a mild tummy upset (diarrhea), is this normal?2017-08-10T10:46:23+10:00

Yes, there is both traditional and scientific evidence to show that this can happen in some people. Traditionally, both turmeric and Terminalia can be taken to support a healthy digestive system however in the first instance this can result in a mild purgative response (it might clean you out a little).

If you are concerned you can reduce the dose* and gradually increase it again. If symptoms persist please consult your healthcare professional.

*remember you can always separate the capsules and pour the contents out to take a smaller dose.
